Balloon safaris are available in:
Central Serengeti (Seronera) – Year-round flights
Western Serengeti (Grumeti area) – Best from May to July
Northern Serengeti – July to October during the Great Migration river crossings
The flight typically lasts 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on weather and wind conditions.
The experience begins before sunrise. You’ll be picked up from your lodge between 4:30 AM and 5:30 AM, depending on location. The balloon takes off around sunrise.
Yes. Safety is a top priority. All balloon flights are operated by licensed pilots using well-maintained equipment, and safety briefings are given before every flight.
